The Acting Auditor-General, Mrs Lara Taylor-Pearce, stated that it is necessary for an organisation to take stock of its activities on a daily basis and get the views of its stakeholders in a bid to “identify what has been done well, where there is need for improvement and what support is available”.

She informed the participants that the workshop would enable stakeholders to give their views on the operations of the Audit Service as related to its constitutional mandate of having an oversight role, in a bid to fight corruption and ensuring through its work an effective service delivery to the populace.
