The maiden edition of the Audit Service Sierra Leone (ASSL) newsletter has been launched by the Information Education and Communications Officer, Mr Martin Sandy, at the Atlantic Hall of the National Stadium, Freetown on Friday 20th May 2011.
Mr Sandy stated that the newsletter would serve as a means of communicating vital issues not only to the staff of ASSL but also to the public. He explained that on the 6th January 2011 he made a promise during the Annual Strategic Planning meeting at Mamba Point that he would be producing a newsletter for ASSL.
Pointing to the newsletter, he said, “I am happy that I have been able to fulfill that promise by producing the maiden edition of the newsletter”. Mr Sandy encouraged staff to contribute to the next edition as the newsletter belonged to ASSL and not to the IEC Division. He informed the staff that the next edition would be out in July 2011.
